Leitch takes you higher with new real time HD editing system At a press event held aboard the USS Intrepid, Leitch introduced its newest product, VelocityHD. Vowing that hardware still matters, the company demonstrated a powerful new hardware card called Altitude that is capable of playing back multiple streams of uncompressed HD footage, with a starting price of under $10K. In this weekly quick feature, TrendWatch founding partner Jim Whittington offers you interesting factoids based on market research from the broadcast and graphics industries. This week, see what studio and facility buyers are looking for at this year's NAB 2004. Creating interactivity with Stitcher 4.0 When you create a QuickTime VR movie you provide your audience with a unique way to explore an environment. This environment could be your brick and mortar store, a special event location, or even a television studio. While your user may be able to navigate around the area, what really makes a QuickTime VR movie shine is the ability to create interactivity via hotspots. We're Looking for DMN Forum Champions!
